Tailored Yoga Tuition

Most classes ask everyone to follow the same sequence. Here you learn your own. Dhali works with you one-to-one inside a group of no more than six, adjusting your practice as your body changes from week to week.

Over time you build a daily practice you can take anywhere: steady breath, strong and graceful movement, and a quieter mind.

How it works:

  • Start with an introduction session with Dhali.

  • Join a regular session of 60 to 90 minutes.

  • Sessions run at 6am and 7:30am Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and at 5:30pm and 6:00pm Tuesday and Thursday.

  • Tuition starts with an 8-session pass for $240, valid for 12 weeks. Longer passes are available.

Prefer to work alone? Private sessions are available.

Shiatsu

A full-body restorative treatment

Shiatsu means "finger pressure". It is a Japanese therapy rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine, working along the body's meridians to release muscles and joints and settle the nervous system. Each treatment covers the whole body and is shaped around how you arrive on the day.

Meet Dhali

Dale Sandwith (Dhali) has taught Hatha Yoga and practised Oriental therapies for 25 years. His teaching draws on both, pairing posture and breath with the moving meditation of QiGong.

He completed a 10,000-hour teacher training with Duncan Ewing at the Yoga Arts Academy in Melbourne, holds a Diploma of Shiatsu and Oriental Therapies from the Australian Shiatsu College, and majored in acrobatics at the Beijing International Arts School.

Vidatha means "the expression of life energy". Building vitality from within is what every session here is for.

What students say

Excellent class with an expert teacher. I love how the classes are truly tailored to the individual. I have a background of suffering from migraines and when I tried yoga with other teachers/yoga schools they became aggravated. Dhali's thorough, careful and considerate consultation process, has allowed me to practice migraine free and I am on my way to relieving life-long issues. I cannot recommend more highly. -BRIONY M

Each week, I gain greater insight into the depth of knowledge Dhali has to share with his students. He has the ability to communicate information and instructions at a level commensurate with the needs and understandings of each of his students. - A very appreciative 62 y.o. student of about 18 mths. -RICHARD GOSCH

Incredible teacher, small classes, actually learn yoga so you can practice anywhere. -MARK DEKONING
